Board of Trustees

This is the chief advisory body of ACAZ made up of not more than ten (10) and not less than four (4) members. ACAZ trustees are persons of integrity and rectitude in society who have unmatched appreciation of arts and culture. This Board of Trustees (BOT) is a corporate body of the advocacy vested with all movable and immovable property of ACAZ and is capable of being sued or to sue as well as concluding contracts for and on behalf of the Advocacy in consultation with the ACAZ Secretariat. Accordingly, it operates in accordance with the Zambian Trusteeship Ordinance and such other laws governing Trusteeship.

The Executive Committee of ACAZ nominates new members for the BOT subject to the approval of the Board of Artists.

The BOT meets twice a year but engages, from time to time, the ACAZ Executive Committee on issues of policy, development, review and implementation of various programme activities of the Advocacy.
